Today, my lab members screened about 900 sorghum lines with two repeats for anthracnose in the field. This work was made possible through our collaboration with Dr. Schnable. We hope to identify novel resistance loci from SbDiv, and I am proud of my team! @szintri @UNL_PlantPath

Kyle Linders has been part of my team for half a decade. Undergrad, grad student, and technician. He takes such ownership of his projects and his teams. Today was his last day. Leaving us for bigger and better things in the private sector. Good luck, Kyle! You'll be missed.

The biggest impact I'll ever have as a professor is the people I help to train. Felt wonderful to see so many current trainees and lab alumni together in one place this past weekend.
