It's been reported that US veterans have age/sex adjusted suicide rates 60% greater than nonvets. Our @JAMAnetworkopen piece confirms this, but shows that vets' suicide rates are only 10% greater than nonvets of the same age and sex. Can both be true? 🧵.

Some states and cities are changing their laws and policies on the supply and use of psychedelics. The shift is akin to what began decades ago with medical cannabis, say experts. But this time around, the changes are coming at a much faster pace.
