BREAKING: A judge has temporarily blocked the Trump admin's unlawful restrictions on certain federal housing funds. This means providers won’t be barred from competing for lifesaving resources because they are in jurisdictions that don’t adopt the admin's ideological agenda.

Our communities are being surveilled more frequently + thoroughly by law enforcement, without tangible guardrails. The cost? Just tax dollars, and our privacy. The public deserves the adoption of strict statutory safeguards before any intrusive surveillance like this is allowed.
Providence Police say the "real-time crime center," which is the first to launch in Rhode Island, helps police act more quickly in an emergency. Civil rights groups are worried about privacy.
