These 2 women are recorded on the #NormandyMemorial. Nursing sisters #MollyEvershed & #DorothyField. When their hospital ship struck a mine on #Juno, they brought 75 stretcher cases up & over the rail into lifeboats. Last seen going down w the ship. #DDay80 Pic @jordanacostahq

Although there was no time for our Emergency Resolution at #RCNED24, the issue of loss of nurse academics has been recognised and will be followed up by council. Thank you to all who contributed to the survey, which made very sobering reading
