Day 6 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. A SOUP MAKER for G (slight issue with no wire in the box though) A Pandora just like Mummio’s for J (just don’t grow, apparently, my ability to size a 7 year olds wrist is poor) Transport’o’wine for Mummio. (Spoons too. Obvs)

Day 5 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. Books! Spoons! Stick on nails! SOUP! cool cat stickers! It’s a Friday bundle.

Day 4 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. A ladle (GIANT SPOON) for the soup obsessed boy, a loo roll for the perpetually in need of a nose blow girl, and a whole pack of spoons for Mummio. When will the fun ever end? (In about 20 days)

Day 3 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. Tiny tape measures that come in multipacks so Mummio will get at least 2 swiped, and cake decorating books - Paul Hollywood has NOTHING on G & J. Also, spoons. Obvs.

Day 2 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. For the Niblings: Nutcrackers!!! And very special commemorative spoons (from eBay) and for Mummio a tiny wooden box to store tinier things in. Goodness knows what though, I got carried away on eBay!

Day 1 of the 2025 #AuntventCalendar. Paint your own crafts (honestly, they are there, you just can’t see them in the photos), SPOONS, and a stationery box for their mother, who appears to be enjoying this more than her offspring.

Bruised, sore, sad. The “normal” of being wobbly and prone to falling and losing balance occasionally gives way to a full on fall. This happened on Friday. Both hands, both knees, and my head broke the fall. Everything aches, especially my pride.

This is the Harry Eccles cup of kindness. It belonged to my Grandpa, Harry Eccles the 1st. He was a headmaster, and each term this award went to a pupil who in someway demonstrated kindness. In a world full of worry, competition and fear, let's make more effort to be kind.
