Today, we announced our next phase of the Assault Style Firearm Compensation Program, which will remove thousands of assault style guns off our streets—Canadians want this. We can’t be tough on crime without being tough on guns—we’re doing exactly that to keep Canadians safe. 🇨🇦

We are launching the compensation program for individual firearms owners, starting with a pilot. Soon firearms owners across the country will be able to participate by declaring their prohibited firearms. https://t.co/URdwazfqab

I am a proud @DalhousieU graduate, but the university's decision to lock out its faculty is ridiculous and only harms students. The university's board and president need to come back to the negotiating table with the @dalfacultyassoc.

The lockout of Dalhousie University faculty is inching closer to the start of the school year, and it's fuelling concerns among students.

Seven years ago today, many lives were impacted by the Danforth shootings. We especially miss Reese and Julianna. We continue to hope for zero gun violence in all neighbourhoods. Thanks to all who have supported us.

The Liberal Party under @MarkJCarney is currently reported to have won 43.5% of the popular vote. The only Liberal leader to win a larger percentage of the popular vote since 1957 is Pierre Trudeau, who won 45.4% in 1968 and 44.3% in 1980. #elxn45 #cdnpoli #Election2025

Exploiting the tragic loss of life in Vancouver for political gain is a new low for Mr. Poilievre in the final hours of his campaign. Besides that, police have said the individual had a history of mental health issues and are still investigating. #VancouverStrong
