I realize I'm hopelessly compromised on this. But it can't be good news that public opinion is now shaped by "influencers"?
A new report, which looked at 1.52 million online posts in this spring's federal election, says influencers had the "loudest voices," overtaking news outlets and politicians. It's a big change from past elections. https://t.co/Ola9ZsEsjI

One of the more printable responses. I’ll say this: criticizing the convoy helps weed out the swivel-eyed zombie army of the unthinking.

National Bank economist Stefan Marion is the most optimistic he’s been about Canada in a decade, even though he’s predicting a $100B deficit. He points to the surging TSX as evidence he’s not alone. But he admits it’s built on hope the Libs will deliver.

I hope there is a large counter-protest to show the world our society hasn't entirely lost its moorings.
This is pure evil. I fear that we have lost the capacity to be shocked by this constant, open, flagrant glorification of mass murder and antisemitism. Any college or university that knowingly allows their facilities or resources to be used for the celebration of terrorist

@IvisonJ And it is federal legislation--the Importation of Intoxicating Liquors Act, first passed in 1928--that gives the provinces their import monopoly, including from other provinces. So much for the July 1 deadline to repeal federal measures that restrict interprovincial trade.

BC producer says he can ship his pinot noir to Washington state duty free under USMCA but pays a 71 percent mark-up to get into the LCBO in Ontario. It may be true that we can give ourselves much more than Donald Trump can ever take away. But we're not. https://t.co/kTsWQfnWh9
