When they renamed him "Red Guy" and stopped depicting him in Hell after the pilot, but instead as a mischievous creature that just appears randomly in people's lives to ruin or inconvenience things, I think that made him MORE like the Biblical Devil.

I always love the backgrounds in this movie for some odd reason. Interesting color choices for the skies. It's almost post-apocalyptic in its uses of reds and blues. It gives the film an otherworldly feeling that I like.
I'm watching The Land Before Time (1988). I like this touch where Littlefoot's mother takes six seconds to swing her head all the way around to respond to him, and her head goes completely out of frame and then back in to do so.

One thing that The Land Before Time perfected was the sense of Scale. Since the story is about a bunch of kids, the animation perfectly shows how small they are in this harsh environment, which is what makes things like the T-rex and their parents so otherworldy, even scary.

The difference here lies on the lesson: Sean Foley is prejudiced to african americans but his love for his son outweigths his personal bigotry, Static's dad helps him while he confronts him on his views, he is not made into a punching bag but someone who can change.
This is a good video and reminds me that I went wayyyyyy too easy on that moongirl episode when it leaked cuz it was a banned episode. It could’ve been way better. The static episode has way more depth so if anyone says these episodes are the same they really aren’t

Reminder that Rosemary's Baby shows us a satanic cult lead by old rich ppl, some with "interesting" last names. Apparently the original book was even more anti 🧃 but the director change a lot of this stuff because he himself was 🧃.
