The problem here is that you never understood the promise to Abraham. You have the same problem the Jews had: Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
If God permanently replaced Israel with the Church, then God could permanently replace the Church with something else. If a promise of God is transferable or revocable, then any one of his promises could be transferred or revoked. God’s reputation of faithfulness is ruined.
