I’m a Messianic Jew. The Bible is the infallible Word of God, the Jewish people are God’s people, and Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah. I work for @perfectwordmin

We Jews weren’t chosen for chosenness’ sake. God didn’t give us some “most favored nation” status and leave Gentiles as chopped liver—rather, God called Israel to be a servant *to the Gentiles*, shining Yeshua’s salvation and blessings to all nations (Isa. 49:3&6, Gen. 18:18).

@AimJo5 You won’t actually find anywhere in Scripture where “Israel” is redefined as “the Church” or “all believers.” The term Israel appears roughly 75 times in the New Testament, and every instance refers to ethnic/national Israel, not a new spiritual entity. Even the one verse

The fullness of the Gentiles (Rom 11:25) and the fullness of the Jews (Rom 11:12) are both necessary. The fullness of the Gentiles provokes Israel to jealousy, causing Israel’s reception of Messiah and the salvation of all Israel (Rom 11:11&26). This in turn leads to the fullness

When Christianity tries to fulfill its mission without the Jewish people, it creates a situation like a single parent trying to raise children alone. A functional family requires the unique roles of both the father and the mother working together. Without either parent, the

Genesis 4:7 (NASB) …sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” The same that can be said of sin can also be said of antisemitism specifically. It desires to devour your soul, destroying your mind and moral compass. Don’t let it take you!

I just read this devotional with my family.
Cause Me to Live A devotional for the Feast of Sukot “And you will take to yourselves… the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palms, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of a brook, and will rejoice before ADONAI your God seven days…. In סֻכֹּת, sukot you [will] dwell

A little rain won’t stop us from having a sukkah! We put up the tarp last night as it started to rain 😆

This is the fundamental idea of Sukkot. Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 (NASB) There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without Him?

I pray that we will see the hostages sitting in a sukkah with their families.

Now that an agreement has been announced, I have some thoughts (assuming nothing goes wrong in the next few days): My first reaction is one of immense joy, thinking about the families who will reunite with their loved ones. Those families have fought tirelessly to get to this

Call me a skeptic, but I still don’t think this is going to go well.

This is my thought exactly. Netanyahu should just ignore Trump, send the IDF in guns blazing, tear Gaza City to the ground, and finish this thing by the end of the Feast. This needs to be over, and Hamas will do everything it possibly can to indefinitely keep it from being over.
Bibi and Trump gave Hamas a very clear ultimatum with a deadline. Hamas rejected it. Why are we still talking? Why would anyone treat our words seriously if we don't treat them seriously ourselves? It was take it or leave it. They left it. There's nothing to talk about.

People love to mock the idea of Jews being the "chosen people," but don't even know what it means. Jews were "chosen" to have a responsibility. Chosen to live by God’s law and to be a light to other nations.

If Hamas had not attacked Israel, slaughtering over a thousand people and taking hundreds of hostages, there would be no conflict in Gaza. You can criticize Israel all you want, but the responsibility lies squarely with Hamas and their insatiable desire to murder Jews.
