A zombie casino heist is a cool enough premise in theory, but man he did not pull it off here.

The Toxic Avenger Part II is definitely a step down from the original thanks to its bloated international adventure (108-minute DC?) and extensive amounts of Japanese jokes that, well, you can probably guess how Troma handles that. Still not the worst movie, though.

Friday Foster is a pretty fun Pam Grier vehicle where she investigates a criminal conspiracy and looks good doing it. Some real heat in the ensemble as well (Kotto, Weathers, Kitt).

Love how many people are getting hung up on how Bill's take on Superman is "wrong" as if the whole thing about Tarantino monologues isn't that he manages to make such vile individuals sound so compelling in spite of themselves.
Kill Bill Vol. 2 “Superman mythology” scene might be Tarantino’s most underrated monologue.
