When I review SUPERMAN, I just wanna say that I will review it on its own metric. If I mention MAN OF STEEL for example or any other movie of the character, it won't be to throw that film under the bus. Enough are going to do that I think so I don't wanna be a part of it.

I've looked up, now it's time to look down at my empty glass & fill it up.

I've seen the first 30 minutes or so of @JamesGunn's #Superman & I'm totally sold & all in to see the full, complete & contextualized vision. David Corenswet is terrific as Superman & excels as Clark Kent with his charisma opposite Rachel Brosman's Lois radiating off the charts.

So before I give you MY thoughts on the first half-or so hour of James Gunn's #SUPERMAN, I'll say that speaking outside to you a dozen+ who were in the audience with us, not EVERYONE feels onboard. Most liked it, some loved it, others needed to see the full thing. Which is cool.

The first take of the first shot where David Corenswet flew as #SUPERMAN, He accidentally crushed one of his testicles. David reminded James Gunn of it in confidence, 10 minutes before the Q&A took place but the story was too funny not to tell him, they both found it hilarious.

Nicholas Hoult originally wanted to test for Lex but his agent, who sent him to the auditions said 'Shut the fuck up, you're going for #Superman'.

James Gunn, knowing Nicholas Hoult wasn't right for HIS #SUPERMAN, put his finger across the monitor during Hoults screen test, to imagine him bald & said to himself 'this is too good of an opportunity to miss'

Peter Safran watched Richard Donner's #SUPERMAN for the first time here, in Cineworld Lester Square & is now introducing his own, Produced movie on the character. While James Gunn, first premiered GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY here in 2014.

MAN OF STEEL is my favorite Superman & Movie of all time. I'M SO SCARED RIGHT NOW.
