I remember going out on a Saturday night. Tonight I have just been cutting my children’s nails by torch light whilst they sleep, as they refuse to let me do it in the day. The only way is at night time. Please don’t say it’s just me!!

Morning morning - so yesterday was ridiculous. Tried to juggle work, home schooling and attempting to be a super hero. Both kids melted down. Too much shouting and tears. So today my mantra is

Day 1 of solo parenting. Husband away for EIGHT days. Kids were asleep still at 8 am.

Every morning my 3 year old asks me ‘are we staying here today mummy’. She goes to Nursery every day and has done since she was 1. Some days she’s fine, but quite often there’s tears. Today total meltdown. Mothers guilt is the worst. Deep breath & now on to the day job.

Great. My 5 year old daughter starts back at school tomorrow morning. I followed the imaginary parents handbook. Stopped screen time early, nice bath, books and calm down before sleep. So obviously she is wide awake and has decided that she'd like to put on a show. 😱

At the time there were no podcasts, no youtube and the iPhone didn't exist. It was a time where we were listened to by millions and pioneered firsts in podcasting and visualisation - basically putting cameras in the studio and creating content for Youtube.

Just read about Cornwall being overcrowded with tourists. I’ve just got back from a week in north wales. Beaches just as gorgeous as my fave places in Cornwall! Plus not as busy and we had sun! Ssssh don’t tell anyone ☀️☀️☀️☀️
