This journey wasn’t easy, but with resilience and focus, I turned crisis into an opportunity for growth. If you’re struggling right now, remember: it’s not about what you lose, but how you rise.

5/ Finally, I reinvented myself again as a thought leader. I became a digital writer, a trusted advisor, and founded a cybersecurity business to help others protect themselves from cyber threats.

4/ I then leaned into my strengths: Consulting, leadership, and cybersecurity. I sharpened my skills, took courses, earned certifications, and became confident in my abilities. This allowed me to succeed as an independent contractor.

3/ I simplified my life. I downsized, reconnected with nature, and shifted my focus to helping others. Empowering others gave me new energy, which helped me stay motivated and clear in my mission.

2/ Next, I reflected deeply and let go of my ego. I stepped back from leadership roles and materialism. I leaned into personal growth and mastery, which helped me find a deeper sense of purpose and resilience.

1/ I had to make some tough decisions. I sold my house and business, cashed out investments, and filed a consumer proposal to clear the debt. Starting over wasn’t easy, but it gave me the clarity I needed to move forward.
