As a note this poll stands out because this is more than the left has been taking together in polls from before the primary. That suggests more than consolidation. This is relevant though
@PopulismUpdates i think before the primary a lot of people wouldve voted for “the left’s candidate (no hard preference)” but that isnt a choice in the polls pre-primary. now thats consolidated the trend can be seen better.

@PopulismUpdates Jara’s rise is due to her strong performance as labor minister, also this time, people are voting for individuals, not parties, Jara stands out. Chile’s Communist Party is moderate, closer to social democracy, and has played a democratic role in leftist governments since 1989.

Yes, this poll doesn't indicate Jara is going to win, however the second round numbers could be fluid and the last update from this poll had Jara 12 behind. It could be clear cut right consolidation of a majority at the end of the day, but we don't know
