Well worth catching, St Martin's Lane (aka Sidewalks of London) is a really charming musical with another of Charles Laughton's genuinely touching performances & Vivien Leigh on her way to stardom. I caught it at the @BFI a few years back & many moments still stick in my mind :

tbh, Searle's designs look great but the animation is so limited in scope & out of pace with the music that it's no real surprise it's fallen off the radar. It's less animated feature at times & more animatic, that could have done with a slightly more engaging lead voice n'all.

The whole movie is up on the youtubes in wonky VHS quality. Would be good to see a decent print of this, altho it's unlikely to be an undiscovered classic (whilst highly likely to contain comedy of a questionable nature).
