I was messaged today by a left handed person who has noticed that most inside pockets on coats are on the left. This is not ideal for about 10% of the population. I had never thought about it before, but now I'm going to be on the lookout for inside pockets on both sides.

I've been on crutches for a week due to a sprained foot. Two quick thoughts 1) the vast majority of people are incredibly kind, big thanks to those who offered me a seat, or opened a door. 2) Pockets!!! Clothes designers clearly think women don't carry anything important, ever!

I was intrigued by this fabulous skirt that my friend was wearing this weekend. It has great pockets, is reversible and has a popper waist so it can do sizes 12-18. Imagine my delight to see the company is called Ananda Clothing. It's literally got my name on it (nearly!) 😁

I was browsing Mumsnet and someone was complaining about when you have a handbag and are trying to pick up hot drinks, and the bag keeps swinging down in front of you or falling down your arm. It's been so long since I've had one, I had forgotten how annoying that is 😁
