The Middle East warned the US not to attack Iran. Because if the Strait of Hormuz closes, it’s a global economic shock. The Strait of Hormuz just closed. Nearly 20% of the world’s oil consumption moves through that narrow passage. Roughly 20 million barrels per day of crude

An Iranian man left this comment on my YouTube channel. This is without a doubt the single best explanation of the reality facing Iranian people today👇 "As an Iranian, I can tell you the situation is no longer just political—it's existential. We are trapped between two

There are tech founders who became billionaires in their 20s. Linus Torvalds - the man who created Linux, the OS that runs the internet is not a billionaire. Net worth? Around $50M. No royalties. No licensing billions. Just a salary from the Linux Foundation. He could’ve

This is actually a fascinating topic that I researched a bit, because I was immensely frustrated to be unable to use Chinese maps (specifically Amap, my favorite) outside China. First of all, people are unaware of just how superior Chinese maps are: some of the features are so

Can confirm — Chinese maps are insane. I tried Baidu Maps when I was in China last November, and Google Maps and Apple Maps feel way behind in comparison.

Georgi's llama.cpp really kicked off the whole local model thing in my opinion - it made original Llama usable on personal computers, I wrote about it back in March 2023 https://t.co/WZ3nzpZRNT

The trace is consistent: ✅ 1492B Payload = PASS ❌ 1493B Payload = DROP Because it returns zero "Packet Too Big" errors, clients loop forever (RFC4890 violation). I'm thinking of forcing RA MTU to 1280 to stop local fragmentation entirely. Thoughts? #IPv6 #NetEng

Anyone else noticing IPv6 fragmentation drops on EE/BT FTTP? 🕵️‍♂️ Investigating Private Relay stalls/battery drain and found a nasty "Silent Drop" on the upstream. It accepts 1492B unfragmented packets but kills anything fragmented without sending ICMPv6 errors. 🧵👇

This is all over the press right now. 58% of Brits want to rejoin the EU. 86% of 18-24 year olds want to rejoin. The British people were sold a lie pushed by Nigel Farage funded by President Putin to break up Europe. Do you support The United Kingdom rejoining?
