Even LDR splats can go HDR (>1.0 radiance) with its trained SH lighting — great for spotting emissive areas and driving bloom/glare. Shoutout to @playcanvas for the HDR pipeline. Now LIVE in @arrival_space_ Scene by @VRTAKAYAN (link in comments).

True HDR rendering with post effect tuning is coming into https://t.co/LTYgngsEFu Many splats already have HDR values (>255) encoded that can be used to improve rendering

One interesting feature of fixed pose alignment is that you can stitch scenes together and they match perfectly since camera poses are compatible. Will post a larger scene asap!

Capturing Unreal scenes with 360° equirectangular images → fixed-pose COLMAP rig → training becomes much more predictable for #gaussiansplatting. Unreal Capture → COLMAP → Lichtfeld Studio (MCMC Default) → LOD (SOGv2) + FX→ runs on the web and mobile. Demo link in reply

I love how the Gaussian splat reconstruction fakes adaptive ISO in @arrival_space_ Because the original camera boosted exposure in darker areas, the scene brightens when I walk into them in the splat — no auto-exposure at render time, just LOD/angle artifacts.
