I met Mani years ago in London and gushed at him about all the gigs I’d seen him play, including Spike Island and many other seminal Roses gigs. He listened and laughed and was such a lovely guy and I’m so glad I had the chance to say what he meant to me. RIP #mani @thestoneroses

Mani wasn’t the first bass player for @thestoneroses, but his addition the band in November of 1987 changed the course of the Madchester scene in the late ‘80s. RIP to a true legend.
