I am sick and tired of politicians proclaiming Ramadan Mubarak and quite deliberately ignoring that today is the beginning of Lent. This is a Christian land you traitorous wretches.

We already face the highest tax on a Great British holiday - we are also the only country in EU that doesn’t have a lower VAT rate for hospitality if the government is serious about tackling the cost of living the last thing they should do is add another tax on working families.

Labour simply do not understand that in many cases, if you cut some taxes, treasury receipts will go up, jobs will be saved or created, and business confidence returns. Reform UK get it.

When each Wetherspoon pub is now paying over £1m in taxes, it is clear that businesses (especially in hospitality) are ludicrously overtaxed in the UK. No wonder they are collapsing daily under the weight of tax. They are being #TaxedOut

Labour don’t understand business. 2020 - to employ a 21 year old 40 full time would cost £17,035 2026 - to employ a 21 year old 40 full time would cost £29,600 A 74% increase. Meaning a cafe needs £400k extra turnover just to fund ONE job!

✅ 18,000 jobs were created in the hospitality sector in the nine months before the General Election. ❌ Since Labour came to power, 111,000 jobs have been lost... It’s very sad but not surprise. Labour have increased the cost of hiring a worker by £1,000.
