Sunday Gravy/Sugo thread. I'll keep this pinned so you can do this when you like. Get your weapon of choice, heat it well then coat the bottom with decent olive oil. When the oil is hot, brown your meat. I'm doing Italian sausage and pork neck bones.

Frustrated. My new glasses were supposed to be done by last week. After calling every day since, I was told today I have to wait another 2 weeks. They never bothered to tell me that my frames were back ordered.

Some Sundays the Good Samaritan parable comes to the front. NH helped a couple of our slightly older neighbors with snow removal. They were more than thankful. I'm thankful that I have someone in my life that helps neighbors without question.

Let's see how well the city and state responds to this weather event. I don't hold out a lot of hope.
Snow is expected to develop Monday afternoon and evening. While rates won't be particularly high, slick conditions will likely develop with temperatures in the 20s. Hazardous travel conditions may coincide with the evening commute for some. #ILwx #INwx

Was just out on the roads for a bit. It's still in the same condition. The city's main arteries are messy but passable. The highways are pretty much the same. Too bad snow isn't racist enough for @ChicagosMayor
Well Kudos @GovPritzker! Not a single plow this morning heading into the city! You know what I did see? Accident after accident lined up and down 90. And this was just a dusting before the heavy stuff started. Illinois sucks!

The snow has been pretty manageable today. The snow blower did ok but the wet heavy snow is making it struggle. I'll be sending 19 out with a shovel soon.
