If you are going to counsel someone on a medication, please know a little about why it is being used and who it's for

Genuine question, not bashing but would a GP be confident diagnosing a 5yr old child with type 1 diabetes ?Or would they ask 2ndry care

Reading the asthma plan both as a HCP then as a PT with asthma and brother in law of a severe asthmatic, it's an interesting read and wonder if this is the sign of the time, and soon all other conditions will have similar pathways such as diabetes/hypertension/copd

@medicalmodelbri Stipulate a maximum number of patients per GP to have on their register then fund practices to employ GPs The average is 2300 patients but there are far too many with 4000-5000 Make patients aware of number of FTE GPs per patient This means practices have a duty to provide GPs

Any idea how much it would cost to do a sort your life out style house clear out, friends parents have a 5 bed house and outbuildings and they want to downsize but there's a lot of sentimental stuff they want to keep

Got a call from the old manager. the trust has had 3 PAL's comments about you/social media, the chief executive has to write back and say I don't work there and haven't for 6 week. My profile has been anonymous for 2.5years due to a previous complaint/stalker, what do I do next

One thing with trumps tariffs, it's going to cost patients more in USA for medication, IE imagine insulin going to add 25% to the bill

Watching #24hoursinpolicecustody , the solicitors comments are so inappropriate about drug dealers, basically saying they are good business men as they pay my wages , if I said that as a pharmacist, guaranteed GPHC would be calling me in for a talk

On train back from London to Cardiff today someone left an unpublished story/diary on the seat, it's a fascinating read. Do I hand it in to lost property at Cardiff or hope someone reaches out re it

🆘 Dear @NHSHEE_SEast , Now I cannot unsee this presentation! This Emergency Medicine Consultant is convinced that Physician Assistants will be able to work at the level of Registrar and Consultant in A+E 💀☠️☠️. ⭕️ PAs don’t know anything about paediatrics/Obs+Gynae. How

Wonder if it's put on the chart and a pharmacist has screened it and asked a Dr to sign it as unsigned and the F1/F2 has signed it

🏴‍☠️ Hi @UCLan , The audacity of your Physician Assistant student to moan about not being able to “prescribe”. This sheila is wondering how her PA colleagues have been “riding it out all these years without prescribing rights”. ⭕️I’m gonna tell you how. They’ve been illegally
