It's National Adopt A Shelter Dog Month. Visit the Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services, located at 1600 Waterbrook Dr, to add a member to your family. The shelter will have $20 dog adoptions during the month of October.

Traces of Texas reader Liann Bunch was nice enough to share this photo of the Pflugerville city limits. It was taken sometime around 1980. What's truly remarkable is that, roughly 41 years later, the population of Pflugerville is more than 67,000.
Crews are lifting the bowl of our new elevated storage tank, which will stand just under 200 ft., to the top of its pedestal today. This process takes several hours. The tank will provide a 1.5 million gallons of water storage and help with water pressure as our city grows.
Travis County is extending the Stay Home Order through May 8. In addition to current restrictions, it also requires everyone over 10 to wear a covering over their nose and mouth when leaving their residence, with a few exceptions. Full details at .
Due to the winter storm, the City of Pflugerville’s Utility Billing department is not currently able to process payments, so until normal operations resume, there will be no late fees charged.
All City of Pflugerville parks will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday, April 10 to 8 a.m. on Monday, April 13. These closures are to prevent overcrowding of parks during Easter weekend that could lead to the spread of COVID-19.

Our team has been hard at work over the past few days picking up limbs and debris fallen from the winter storm. Check out a few highlights collected over the past four days that show how dedicated our crews are to helping clean up our City!
While your water continues to pressurize, it is vital that we continue to conserve it wherever we can. One way we can do that is by not using our sprinkler systems. Be sure to check to make sure the power outage did not cause your sprinkler system to reset.
For the safety & health of yourself and others, don't pforget to wear a mask! Be sure it fits properly and covers both your nose & mouth. Wearing a mask is vital to stopping the spread of COVID-19 and is mandatory when visiting businesses under the current Travis County Order.
The trail at Lake Pflugerville is reopening tomorrow. The parking lot on the south side of the lake will reopen starting at 8 am for trail users. When using the trails, please remember to practice social distancing and pick up all trash.
