We continue to advocate for our teachers, staff, students, and community as we plan for the 2020-21 school year. PfISD Board President Vernagene Mott and Superintendent Dr. Doug Killian sent a letter to TEA Commissioner Morath and Governor Abbott.

PfISD has implemented a 2-hour delay due to anticipated weather conditions. Buses will operate their regular bus routes two hours later than their usual time. The school day will end at the regular time.
🚨NO SCHOOL🚨Due to inclement weather, all PfISD schools will be closed on THURSDAY, Feb. 3. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority, and canceling school is the best way to ensure the safety of everyone in these weather conditions.

⭐ Paper-based learning plans available now! ⭐
For students and families that do not have access to devices or the Internet, the District will provide alternative paper-based learning plans. They are set up and ready for pick up at our district meal locations.
Our PfISD Food Services personnel served meals as the pandemic began, and classes went entirely online. They continued to serve all summer and will be serving again as we head into online classes again on Thursday. Thank you Food Services for providing meals to our community. 👏

Last Friday PfISD officials were made aware of an inappropriate conversation a teacher at Bohls MS had with students during an advisory class. As of Monday morning the teacher in question is no longer employed by PfISD.
