Works to build our new home & Europe’s first anti-apartheid museum began today! A special moment celebrated with representatives from communities we serve and our valued stakeholders An honour to welcome Deputy Mayor @debs_wb to ‘breakground’ w. @SAHCLondon @PeterHain & others
Was honoured to speak at the @PentonStreetCML Anti-Apartheid Legacy Centre ground breaking event today as they begin construction of their permanent home in London. This historically significant site once housed the HQ of the then exiled African National Congress.

Why do liberation movements so often falter once in power? These are the questions at the heart of 'Liberation and Corruption', the new book by @PeterHain, and the focus of this timely event. 📖 https://t.co/2GKYUBjr0s 🎟️ @SOAS, 27 Oct:

Last week to see artist Norman Kaplan's skilful & inspiring work @ThePortico Tuesday to Friday next week. And Friday 25 April, live panel of activists who led anti-SA- apartheid campaigns, including massive boycott action, in the NW. @PentonStreetCML

So glad @ThePortico hosting this exhibition of Norman Kaplan linocuts from South Africa pre- and post-liberation: a lifetime of humanity & skilful cutting; his cartoons for underground ANC mags satirical & subversive. Don't miss! @PentonStreetCML @ACTSA
