@comicbookaddt 1. Find ways to bring new talent into the industry. There are so many talented artists and writers who, despite proving themselves capable, have no way into the industry. 2. Decrease cost of issues to open up accessibility to a younger audience. 3. Hire more diverse talent.

Big news out of the SDCC yesterday: John Byrne’s Elsewhen is finally getting officially published by Marvel! Byrne’s 32 issues of Xmen fan-fiction will be released in three volumes in 2026. That’s some pretty great news to start your Friday. Hoo-hah!

Yes. This is why you see many artists stick to the 3 C’s: covers/conventions/commissions. But they ignore the main C, and that is COMICS. But that takes away the benefit of creating a property you could co-own. Or a fan base who love your property AND your art. But that is more

Realized I should add: I'm not zipping across the pond without having done my homework. I'm coming in on a Visa that will let me live *and* work in the UK for any studio, production company or network. I am now officially a UK resident.
Totally open to all options; I just don't want people to get misled. I'm moving to the UK without deals, understandings or guarantees. This is all about risk-taking. There's no fun going up on the high wire if you know there's a net beneath you.

I suppose the questions is, would Doctor Who fans be willing to accept an American, even a hardcore anglophile with a UK visa, for such an inherently British series, given Babylon 5 and Sense8 and the like? Would I be worthy?
