Trump just finalized the 30% tariff on South Africa. Another 10% on all BRICS countries, bringing the total up to 40%. AGOA gone. 300 000 jobs in the automotive industry lost. Thanks Ramaphosa, using Mugabe's "He must keep his America" tactics are paying off!

If this continues, America goes de facto bankrupt and all tax revenue will go to paying interest on the national debt with nothing left for anything else.
How did we arrive at a point in this country where 25% of all tax revenue goes to just paying the interest in $37 trillion in govt debt? Annually: US govt total reveneue = about $5 trillion US govt interest on debt = about $1.2 trillion US govt spending = about $7 trillion

Let's review. Musk went on a bender and offered to buy Twitter at a price based on a weed meme. Then he agreed to a binding agreement to purchase it. Apparently he didn't fully grasp how binding it was. Then he tried to get out of the deal. Twitter sued to force him to ...
