At 5:57 PM on June 28th, 2020, the Mississippi Senate votes 37-14 to remove the current state flag, create a flag commission to bring a new flag design to the people of Mississippi to vote on in November. The bill now heads to the Governor’s office for his signature.

Our property sits 2-4’ above sea level and butts up to a bayou that connects to the Mississippi Sound ~ 2 miles away.
