The outrage by the right liberal old guard over my original tweet is quite a wonder to behold. It’s upsetting to receive word that your movement has passed its expiration date. But regardless of your feelings, facts are facts.
This is an accurate description of trends I see among conservative students at a number of top law schools.

Vibe shift continues.
Natural law scholars are increasingly critical of the notion that the Constitution is merely a set of neutral procedures. Law is an ordinance of reason aimed at the common good. Perhaps President Trump might like to see a new legal society built. @Vermeullarmine thoughts? 👀.

I was privileged to read this book by @philippilk in galleys, and eagerly provided an endorsement. Philip has written the must-read work for our current political moment, describing not only why liberalism failed, but what should come next.
“This is not a book about liberalism. It is a book about the end of liberalism. It seeks to track the weaknesses of global liberalism. and how these weaknesses are leading to its collapse.”. @philippilk's 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑝𝑠𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐺𝑙𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑙 𝐿𝑖𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑚 is out now.

A wonderful recollection of Alasdair, both personal and philosophic, with a surprising appearance involving Yoko and the Beatles.
@PatrickDeneen Some of my memories of MacIntyre:

Alasdair MacIntyre’s Friday afternoon lectures at the annual Center for Ethics and Culture Fall Conference was always an intellectual highlight of the year at Notre Dame - in academic terms, a real “happening.” I hope that the afternoon lectures he delivered over roughly two.
A great light has gone out. He leaves us a profound legacy, and I pray now rests well in the peace of Christ.
