A tourist on our bus, when the bus stopped where she’d indicated she wanted to get off, asked if it was stop x. The driver said no, that’s the next stop. She called out apologies to all the passengers. As one, all of the bus replied “it’s fine, no worries, no problem”. So sweet.

Wellington, are we not thanking drivers as we get off the bus anymore? It’s been a very muted week I’ve noticed. #wellington.

So, listening to Paul Goldsmith on @NZMorningReport, it sounds like National agrees cultural reports are useful in sentencing - but it wants them done faster and for free. 🤷🏼‍♀️ His main concern was “the industry” that’s grown up around providing the reports. Riiiiight…. 🤨.
