Unpopular opinion - I think the current AI β€œagents” theme is mid curve and took off because nothing else was going on to amuse the chronic gamblers. (Ducks out of the room)

After years of heartfelt collaboration I resigned from my position at Fleek. It was a journey that shaped me and they will always have a special place in my heart.

2024 was a year of walking away. Both emotionally at the start and now professionally at the end. Excited for 2025 more than ever before. Can't wait to help build cool stuff while having fun doing it!

If you think about it Turing had to play the imitation game his whole life.

To love the change is to lover forever ; don't love the snapshot, love the process.

Only *stable* thing in a tech guy's life is the branch he pushes code too, but even that's probably bug infested and fragile.

oh and this isn't only about software, i believe this is also the case for social structures, and also over legislation leading to the collapse of governments.

When you combine two systems you are already operating at the intersection of two different sets of assumptions, extending this to more system only means smaller sets and eventually this will lead to an almost empty set of assumptions. This will inevitably lead to a collapse.

Errors happen at the border: Most bugs don't happen "inside" a system β€” they happen at the point where two systems have to talk to each other.

Discord really needs to get over the no-third-party client thing in their TOS. I really need a TUI for it, without the risk of getting banned for using it. Maybe a headless electron running the original app acting as a data daemon for the TUI could do the trick?

Fuck OFAC. Sanctions are barbaric and they only harm the average citizens the most.

we really need to put some engineers through scarcity training - not everyone has 5G all the time, just build for the worst case and your app will be fast. - computers are fast you just make them slow. -- end of rant --
