I always find these cases the worst to cover. Innocent people impacted by the stupidity of someone else. You never know what is round the corner. Heartbreaking stuff

Been in court for the sentencing of a drink driver who killed one person and left another fighting for their life. The court story is online now - I spoke with the family of the man who died, and the woman left seriously injured after the case - we'll have that on Monday

I commend my colleague Cllr Hogg for his great work on this. It has taken a long time and a great deal of work to see marked improvements in this situation. Thanks also to the police for working collaboratively with the council on this matter.

In last week’s @peterboroughtel column, I reflected on Remembrance, the debt we owe to those who served, and why the Government’s decision to buy back military homes is an important step towards giving service families better, safer housing 🎖️

L B-B is such a great player to watch... but his time will come. It has to be a South African right? They are so far ahead of everyone else. Give it to Ox - the props finally need to get their reward.

My takes on England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Test at Twickenham. 1. This is poor from the boys. Midfield defence is really questionable without Jordie Barrett. 2. I thought we have improved in the aerial battle and did enough to keep that being our Achilles' heel 3. Beaudy had a shocker. 4.

Not sure about these ratings at all. Beauden 6? 4 at best. That might be generous. Roigard a 7? Him and lakai were worth an 8. Roigard being taken off might be the turning point. He was by far the best player on the park in the first half - either team. https://t.co/DppXVQXNtl
