Campaigners for assisted suicide are fond of telling us it has "massive public support" I disagree & in my experience as an opponent of assisted suicide, the more people learn about the subject, the less they support it Have a look at my BBC documentary: https://t.co/KOoAi5mFz7

I commend my colleague Cllr Hogg for his great work on this. It has taken a long time and a great deal of work to see marked improvements in this situation. Thanks also to the police for working collaboratively with the council on this matter.

Residents have filled the cable bins across the city by recycling old cables from their homes. In fact, at some locations such as Werrington Library, the bin was completely full. But don’t worry, our teams have emptied it so more residents can continue recycling their cables.

The Lowings family of Cambridge received a letter from the King praising their ‘patriotic spirit’ when eight brothers joined up. By the Armistice four had been killed. They lived on Mill Rd in what was much later to become the laundrette. 1

The fact that Peterborough's main hospital does not have a #ChangingPlaces toilet is extremely concerning and deeply distressing for every patient who requires one. We hope @NWAngliaFT will take action on this important matter. https://t.co/CRoMUUvOUp
