Great to visit the Peterborough Beer Festival today - a brilliant showcase of our region’s brewing talent. Congratulations to @OakhamAles , based here in North West Cambridgeshire, on their awards - it was a pleasure to present them and support our local brewers.

Residents are invited to a poignant ceremony to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day and remember the service and sacrifice of those who fought for their country. There will be a Civic Procession and Service on Friday 15 August from 2.30pm outside Peterborough Town Hall in Bridge

Good. I wrote to the council the other day. The Mayor was copied into the emails sent. @sam_carling_ & @NicolaDay78 have also written. Council announced on 6 August it looking at the issue again. Good to see unity on this @upthegardenbath

I visited affected residents onsite recently, and have written to the managing agent to get answers. I raised this issue directly with the Housing Secretary in Parliament. I’ll keep pressing for leaseholders in our area to get a fair deal.

Many people in Fletton Quays have seen their service charges skyrocket - in some cases, more than doubling in just two years. Residents are being left to pick up the bill for building issues that should be covered by warranty, with no real accountability from developers.

Council and health leads have issued a warning about botulism symptoms after a small number of residents encountered adverse reactions to cosmetic procedures involving botulinum toxin. These residents had to be treated at Peterborough City Hospital. Investigations are ongoing
