Cst.Sibley attended a Street Race Meet which involved over 100 vehicles. He tracked one vehicle’s speed at 104km/h in a 50km/h zone. The driver decided not to pull over for Sibley but forgot that police have eyes to see license plates. Cst.Sibley just waited for him at his house.

Cst.Purdy of our RoadSafety unit caught this 22 yr old male going this speed in a 60km/h zone. As a result Cst. Purdy took his license and vehicle. You don’t know where this officer is observing traffic unit it’s too late. No cautions,no tolerance.We take cars n suspend licenses.

Fridays nights are not for street racing. Both of these cars were caught racing at speeds of 158km/h and 144km/h in a 60km/h while racing in Peel. Cst.Crouse was able to have both vehicles pull over without issue.
