Some people believe that money can magically conjure up arms and military force, even without industrial capacity. Warmongers are really dumb.
If Russia wins in Ukraine, it will cost the EU maybe 40-60% of GDP because we will then have to spend 2% more on defence every year for the next two generations. Giving Ukraine 2% of EU GDP right now will save us from that scenario. It is a no brainer. Why are we hesitating?
