Instead, the PG chose to keep denying its workers, even the ones crossing the picket line, better coverage. As the company made clear at our recent bargaining session, however, the PG has no plans to quit violating federal labor law until we, and the circuit court, make them.

This afternoon, the @NLRB requested that the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court hold @PittsburghPG in contempt for refusing to restore the health insurance plan that the court ordered be restored in March

While we’re pushing the walls closing in on the PG, we are still on the longest strike in the country. Will you support our fight for victory with a donation today to our Pittsburgh Striker Fund to cover essentials like rent, food and utilities?

We’re thrilled with today’s decision from the 3rd Circuit, but our strike isn’t over. Our demands haven’t changed: In addition to restoring health care, the PG must restore terms it illegally took away in 2020 including pay, PTO and discipline protections.

It’s the latest legal loss the PG has taken AND the most substantial. It affirms what we’ve said all along: the PG violated our rights and will be held accountable. If the PG doesn’t restore health care it’s in contempt of court and would risk having bosses and owners detained.

🚨BIG news: Today the federal judges who granted us an injunction last month ordering @PittsburghPG to restore our illegally-taken health care DENIED the company’s desperate attempts to rehear the case, delay justice and cut its *current* workers out of the plan we’ve won back.

We requested the @PittsburghPG give the improved health care we recently won to all bargaining unit employees. To be clear, the 3rd Circuit Court already ordered the PG to do this. It’s just delaying in an attempt to deny its CURRENT employees health care.
