Thank you, Wayne County Commissioner Terry Marecki, for being responsible and voting no on Rx Kids. Now the newly elected Mayor of Detroit, Mary Sheffield, is planning to expand this ripe-for-fraud program into our state's biggest city.

Rx Kids is a pure money grab of hard-working Michiganders’ tax dollars. Rx Kids first expanded into Wayne County in early November 2025, when the Wayne County Commission voted 14-1 to give your Wayne County tax dollars to fund this program.

Rx Kids is “no strings attached” money. - no proof of citizenship required - no proof of legal status (green card) required - no proof of financial need required - no proof of what the money was used on - no proof that the woman who got the $1500 upfront money gave birth
