Make a leaf lantern! 🍂🕯️🍁 Making lanterns is a lovely activity to do at this time of year. As the evenings are drawing in, many children are experiencing being up when it’s dark again for the first time in months. #leafcrafts #martinmas #steinercrafts #martinmaslantern

We have completed more wildflower areas as part of the project! Sorrel Drive Park in Rugby is now harrowed and sown thanks to our efforts yesterday. Coton Park is also harrowed, and just needs to be sown with seed tomorrow! Thanks everyone! #networkfornature #exploredunsmore

“The activities that are the easiest, cheapest, and most fun to do – such as singing, playing games, reading, storytelling, and just talking and listening – are also the best for child development.” Jerome Singer #childdevelopment #earlyyears #simplicityparenting

'It’s brilliant to see this research confirming that trees are literal life-savers, protecting city-dwellers against the impacts of heatwaves in urban areas. This should spur us all on to expand our urban forests as a key action to adapt to a warmer future climate. We hope that

Our client gardeners in Reading have been busy getting ready for spring! 🌷🌼 They have been planting up pots that are ideal for Mother’s Day gifts and making a variety of bird boxes. Available from the Potting Bench table in our car park.

Recently I’ve made a sort of living photo of spring flowers on my garden steps to help my brain through very dark times. Voles live under the steps & pop up when I put seeds out & a wren visits every day. There’s also a small owl. Hopefully this photo will lift your mood too x🌿

As one of the first flowers of spring, snowdrops often symbolise new beginnings, hope and ability to overcome challenges. On Friday some of our client gardeners evoked this spirit by spending the afternoon splitting snowdrops to share for sale on the entrance plant table.
