I wonder what has changed?.
@Orbinho @firstdirect I used them a few years back as well and they were superb. Had an actual English person talking me through a loan application where they didn't just run numbers but used some common sense. It was awesome. Then yeah, like your experience it went to shit.

After being contacted by @FirstDirect's social media team relating to this post, the Customer Service team reached out to say that they aren't going to respond to my complaint. Apart from being abysmal customer service, why are you contacting me if you don't want to respond?.
I was an early customer of @firstdirect and it was ground-breaking when it was launched - so much better than its rivals for so many years, but now it's a pale imitation of itself, from a product but also sadly from a service point of view. So bad I'm closing my account and you.

I wrote a piece for @optaanalyst about Gabriel Martinelli with a starting point of view that we needed an upgrade, but after browsing through the data, I changed my mind and concluded that he might be just as good those players with whom we're being linked.
