Illegal streaming is a “real threat” to English football, FFS.
Maybe they shouldn’t try and squeeze every last penny out of everyone for multiple subscriptions – without even offering live coverage of every game.

You can write off the Community Shield, of course, but to come from behind so late and then beat Man City will be important for this Arsenal team after what happened last season and our record against City in general.
Take the positives when they're there.
If Nketiah and Odegaard get booked for light shirt pulling this evening, it’s mad that Dan Burn can reef Gabriel’s shirt around his neck and it’s not a penalty.
No doubt we deserved to win that, but United made it tough.
The pressure we put on them in the last 20 minutes was brilliant, great to have an attacking sub who made a difference too.
Saka fantastic, but two goals for Eddie Nketiah – well fucking done that man!
Derby games are fucking mental, this was definitely one of those. We gifted them two goals.
But we won, and they lost, and that's all that fucking matters right now.
More considered analysis tomorrow.

Wow wow wow.
Did NOT see that coming.
Amazing turnaround on a day when it looked for quite some time like weren't anywhere near capable of doing it.
Hopefully the shot in the arm everyone needs after a difficult few weeks.
Love this team.
That is a brilliant win. Superb first half, deservedly ahead, Spurs were a bit better in the second half but we were by far the better side overall.
Ramsdale absolutely brilliant but every single player did a great job this afternoon.
LOVE IT ❤️
I don't think you can say we did enough to win that, but we did not deserve to lose it.
Absolutely done over by PGMOL. Newcastle should have been down to 10 men, and that goal is nonsense. Ball out, possible foul, but obvious offside.
Officials not fit for purpose.
What can you say that makes any sense?!
To make the mistakes we did then keep plugging away to come back and win in that manner ... oooof, this team has something special.
What a contribution Reiss Nelson.
I need a lie down.
That's a huge win, and while it was a cautious game from both sides, I think the Arsenal back four deserves massive credit today for how well they dealt with City's attacking threat.
Saliba and Gabriel in particular were immense.
More thoughts on the blog tomorrow. For now ❤️
Massive win.
Odegaard and Jorginho absolutely fantastic, Ramsdale with another heroic performance.
We deserved that, worked so hard, a proper fight against a team that wanted to be physical and provoke, and we stood up to to it brilliantly.
GET IN.
Not quite sure what to say.
Conceded sloppy goals and could have dropped points today. But when a team scores late goals to win games as often as we do, it's not a fluke.
The ability to keep going and to grind it out, on days don't play well, is invaluable.
A long way to go in this title race, this was absolutely a game we couldn't lose rather than one we had to win.
Arsenal blunted Man City with defensive organisation and discipline.
A hard earned point.
Never nice to lose a game, but if the context of what's to come – you can see that the gap between these two team has closed in a big, big way.
Full strength at home in the league, and we can beat them.

Will be interesting to see price given he only has 5 months left on his Brighton deal.
Well that was genuinely an extraordinary game of football.
Gutting to concede so late, but we had to withstand some amount of pressure.
Aaron Ramsdale with 2 of the best saves you will ever see – IN INJURY TIME.
Point at Anfield, you have to take it.
Can't fault the effort this evening, but we didn't really create anything on the night. Bayern had more chances, better chances, and we switched off for their winner.
This has been a tough week but this isn't like CL exits of old. Hopefully we can learn a lot from this season.
Referees are not being undermined by clubs.
They are being undermined by their own mistakes, which now happen with a frequency and severity that just isn't acceptable.
It’s a measure of our season that a draw feels so disappointing.
Newcastle very tough to play against, just men behind the ball all the time.
It does show that on nights like this, greater attacking depth from the bench is so important. Let’s get that done ASAP hopefully.
Absolutely played them off the park in the second half.
Could have had 5 or 6. Great to shake off that bit of home tension, feel like this is just the kind of result we needed.
We had to win this game in end, and after some 1st half struggles, we did it emphatically.
👏
Huge win, and that was a crazy game. The goal we conceded was terrible, the one Liverpool conceded for 2-1 was even worse. You'd never have thought Alisson/Van Dijk would do that.
Made the most of it, and didn't let our heads go down.
Right back in it.
Brilliant win, not just in terms of the points, but in a title race that could be very tight, goal difference is important.
Huge day for Declan Rice too. 2 assists and a brilliant goal.
That's as well as we have played all season. So impressive.
I wanted the player but you can't blame Arsenal for not matching that price. It's crazy money.
The main question now is what kind of back up/alternative targets we have, and how quickly we can get them in.
🚨 Chelsea have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for Mykhailo Mudryk. €70m + €30m add-ons. 7+ year contract agreed. Leaving Turkey for London to undergo medical. Not signed yet but done deal. W/

Any win would have been good enough tonight, but that's about as good as it gets.
Ruthless second half, absolutely battered them, and could have scored more.
Just what you need going into a big game on Sunday, and puts some pressure on the others.
Job done by FA/PGMOL.
Instead of fans being allowed hear what managers actually think, they force them this nothingness which is just to protect their incompetence.
And they STILL haven't made a decision on MA post-Newcastle after 5 weeks! Wonder why ...
Asked Arteta his view on the Luiz penalty and Havertz handball. All he would say is "clear and obvious". Eventually he adds "that's my opinion, it's all I can say".
Understand focus on the goal, & the nonsense about conclusive angles and all that is a handy thing for PGMOL to hide behind.
For me, the most egregious error on the night is Guimares' forearm smash to the back of Jorginho's head not being given as violent conduct.
WTF?!
Really impressive performance today. It's tricky against Brighton, because to stop them doing what they do best, you can leave yourself more open than you'd normally like, but we did it very well.
Absolutely superb performance from Kai Havertz today too.

Big, big three points in the circumstances. That second yellow for Tomiyasu is a genuine disgrace, but we dug in and defended extremely well.
Always a tough place to go, so the maximum return is very, very welcome.
Brilliant win, pretty much dominated every bit of that game, could have scored more goals.
The Premier League form is just so impressive – and good to bounce back from midweek.
Revenge against Newcastle dished out in the best possible way.
To beat City, you have to be basically perfect, and there were just a few too many errors at both ends for Arsenal tonight.
Their tactical change in the 2nd half really worked well, but we missed chances that could have change the momentum of this game.
Won't argue with a point at Anfield, especially given the chance they missed to go 2-1 up.
Early 2nd half v iffy, game could have got away from us, but we worked hard to get back into it.
Top of the table still. Merry Christmas.
Got there in the end. 25 shots, 2 goals – we should have been out of sight with some of the chances we had.
But Brighton defended very well for 99% of the game. We made the most of that 1%.
I think this Declan Rice fella might be pretty good too

What a week Martin Odegaard has had.
Two goals against Chelsea, a huge goal against Newcastle, and the kind of performance that demonstrated real leadership after some difficult results.
15 now in the league. Superb numbers, and here's to him adding a few more.
At last.

the day before. What Arsenal fans don’t realise is this guy is dragging the reputation of a magnificent club through the dirt. There’s no need. Now PGMOL/FA have to do something.
Gotta say, I think this is really fantastic stuff.
Collaborative with fans, bringing together so much history, promoting a future of inclusivity, and some wonderfully deft touches in the detail.
The Arsenal ❤️
Not a game we deserved to win despite going ahead twice.
Too much sloppiness/carelessness in possession from players capable of much, much better – and both Spurs goals completely avoidable.
Excellent win, completely negated a really poor Bournemouth side, and we could have scored more than we did.
Really nice moment for Havertz, his reaction and that of his teammates and fans was fantastic.
Add a City defeat to today's mix and it's just 👌
At this point of the season, it's all about getting it done far more than how you do it.
Late goals in each half enough for three points, a lot of those players pushed themselves so hard. Rice's last 10 minutes were amazing all things considered.
A BIG win. Top of the league!
