We have always had a policy of evaluating contributions based on value, and not on identity. We have many contributors whom we know only by writing style, contribution type, or Cwtch address. Call for contributor credits:

With a shrinking budget, and the current economic situation I spent a lot of time last month thinking about the future, principles, and how to do sustainable work going forward. On unavoidable truth: Building privacy preserving systems as a non-profit is becoming unsustainable.

I started donating to @OpenPriv a few months ago, because if I, an individual who care a lot about privacy, can't be bothered to contribute my time, or money to projects like this, who will? It is a lot like not voting, and then complaining about the results. Vote! Donate!

Shout out @errorinn @OpenPriv who analyzed this data: "Even just the graph of events, I can see you start heading out from work on Fridays at 2 p.m.,” Atwater said, without knowing that it’s already a running joke at work that I like to leave the office a bit early on Fridays.
