Pinterest’s NGAPI switched to LMDB to ease memory pressure from its gevent-based multi-process setup. The change cut memory use by 4.5%, letting them raise processes per host from 64 to 66, handle more requests with better CPU utilization, and ultimately reduce fleet size.

#openldap 2.5.3 (Alpha 2) is out. Among other things it has LDAP Transaction support. Developers should try this out because it can be very valuable in many use cases. #ldap

RIPE NCC's experience sounds very much like OpenLDAP's - lots of their problems caused by using an unsuitable embedded DB. Too bad LMDB can't solve problems with broken runtime environments. https://t.co/Xn4rXKl3MT
