A note on CVE-2023-4863: we have not been able to confirm the impact to Flutter (and thus Cwtch UI). In Cwtch, images are only ever displayed if the contact has been explicitly accepted AND the file sharing and image previews experiments are enabled. (1/2).

We have released a new Nightly!. This nightly contains a first cut of Conversation Search, in addition to several bug fixes impacting effectiveness of the contact retry plugin when combined with a large contact list, and an unstable network connection.

A small follow up to last weeks autobindings devlog: we now have a version of cwtch library autobindings that allow for compile-time optional experiments - this will allow us to provide e.g. smaller Android builds or ultra low-risk cwtch builds/.
