These findings show that we need to do more to involve organizations in the environmental domain and at the local level to strengthen preparedness and response to these diseases.

💡 Why is this important for our project?.Our goal is to ensure that scientific knowledge from our project reaches the right organizations and is applied in practice.

Additionally, while collaborations and knowledge exchange are strong at the international and national levels, connections with the local level are scarce.

🔍 What did we find?.There is already significant collaboration between human and animal health organizations, as well as with the vector domain. However, connections with the environmental domain are almost entirely missing.

This calls for a One Health approach: integrated collaboration between organizations across these domains. But is this happening? And are organizations from the national to the local level involved?.

🦟 Why is this research important?.Mosquito-borne viruses are a ‘One Health’ threat because their transmission depends on hosts (humans and animals), vectors (mosquitoes), and the environment where they intersect.
