Great presentation from @Strickomaster at the @iqmaward conference. The Halcyon Dream - make the main thing the main thing. the magic happens in the classroom. Knowing our children and what success looks like for them. A proper 'sit up and think' message about positive messages.

My last day as Headteacher @Highfurlong. I've had the best 6 years. Such a privilege to work with the incredible pupils, families, and school team. I'm extremely excited for the next chapter as CEO of Synergy Education Trust - a new local mixed MAT in Blackpool

Our new central trust office is in one of our amazing primary schools. It's next door to their new library in the attic! It's wonderful. Love this new staircase and though @leewhowrites would love this too.

It was a great conference. Lots of interesting information and presentations. Highlight hearing from @PookyH .A fantastic local commitment to improving inclusion and SEND in Blackpool.
A busy Blackpool day. Interesting and uplifting SEND conference followed by computer teachers' meeting. Thanks to @OldhamNeill, @CRawlinson01, Phil Morris @MontyICT, and @AngelaHoldswo11 for making the sessions highly productive.

Attended a singing day to raise money for this school. it was amazing to sing, and such a great opportunity to see another special school setting. Similar cohort and range of needs. Such an incredible school with the most wonderful facilities. Can't wait to visit again!.

It's a national crisis. My own setting has grown from 50 places to 112. and we continue to grow to meet the demand for provision but its not enough. We have so many requests for places - we can't meet this need but the pupils and families need us. .
@BBCElaine @BBCNews Timely, effective support for children with SEND is in crisis. Many mainstream schools struggling to provide right level of support whilst places aren't available in special schools. It's a whole system issue - from diagnosis onwards.We are failing families who need us the most.
