A bit delayed doing @OcTBRChallenge stats. I was hoping Id finished The Book of Witching to sneakily include it in October lol. No luck. I’m enjoying it, but I’m not devouring it like I do with fantasy/dystopian books lol. Looks like I didn’t have many favourites, just Torchfire

@OcTBRChallenge And I mustn't forget to claim my badges. I fell a bit short of my own self-challenge, managing to read a book or finish an audiobook from 78 different bundles rather than 100, but that's okay. It was still fun trying. 😄

@OcTBRChallenge It's been great fun, thank you very much. I finished 100, and got my tbr list from 6424 down to 6360. It's a start. 😄 These were some of my favourites.

Only a few hours left of this year's OcTBR Challenge! *sigh* We hope you had fun, fell even more in love with reading, and put a dent in your TBR. Maybe you even got to the bottom of it? PaHaHaHahaha Post some pics of TBRs or fave reads, and we'll see you next OcTBR! 😍 🎃📚🍁

@OcTBRChallenge So it’s not spooky but I feel like the Songlight series I’m reading atm could be a good set of films/programme. It’s all about telepathic people being persecuted and called unhumans and taken to a place where they basically have a form of lobotomy to take away their abilities

@OcTBRChallenge Definitely PTSD Radio Vol. 1 for me. Never had a comic jump-scare me so effectively after turning the page!

@OcTBRChallenge I’ve got Spectacular to read which is a short Christmassy novella from the Caravel series. I’ve not got anything planned yet but I do like to find something with a winter theme

@OcTBRChallenge So far has to be Torchfire in the songlight series. But I will hopefully get 1 more proper book and some short ones in! My ambitious pile that I made specifically for this has barely a dent in it 😬😬

@OcTBRChallenge I think Antares by Leo, or really any of his books, would make a great tv show. Rooted in character and dialogue but with wild visuals and crazy stuff happening that would make for great cliffhangers.

@OcTBRChallenge A lot of the Penguin Archives series. The Judge Dee books by Lavie Tidhar. And there's a new Asterix book this year, making it what I think of as a *proper* Christmas.

@OcTBRChallenge Chain-Gang All-Stars for me, though have only read two books this month 😬

@OcTBRChallenge There was a lot I really liked. I'm reading Babel-17 by Samuel Delany at the moment and that's so far up my street that it's parked outside my house. I think my favourite so far is Kim Newman's Drachenfels, a fun, imaginative novel about a play being mounted in a risky location.

@OcTBRChallenge A1. Not yet, I’ve been saving my spooky book for Halloween week, so tomorrow. Not sure how spooky it will be but the bookshop lady recommended it #ocTBRchat

@OcTBRChallenge I read 'The Thing on the Doorstep' again. I am always reading short horror stories, though.
