Today’s weekly walk was the viaduct to aquaduct walk near Llangollen. I’ve done this one quite a few times, but never on such a wet day 😂 4.22miles and I earnt that cosy heated blanket afternoon lol. Still very pretty and autumnal

I don’t have many friends in my life and she’s my best friend. But sometimes she says stuff that really puts me down and it hurts a little, and stomps on my confidence. I don’t think she means to but doesn’t stop the hurt

I bought myself a step aerobics step and did my first beginner video at home today 💪 I’ve decided to try to do the videos on my least active days, I am trying hard to be more active and get fitter. When I told my friend she scoffed and laughed and said I’d never use it

Finally finished The Book of Witching, really enjoyed it; wouldnt class it as horror like StoryGraph says, but it’s a tense and engaging read. So excited to start the final book in Book of Dust Series! I love when hardbacks have a special something under the dust covers

A bit delayed doing @OcTBRChallenge stats. I was hoping Id finished The Book of Witching to sneakily include it in October lol. No luck. I’m enjoying it, but I’m not devouring it like I do with fantasy/dystopian books lol. Looks like I didn’t have many favourites, just Torchfire

We seemed to have 3 wks no walking; between friend poorly 1 week, me too anxious to leave house another week, and a week where neither of us felt like it 🙈 Glad we got out and done a fab 3.5mile walk along Belan Lock. Beautiful autumn walk! Followed by cheeky Greggs doughnut

Those of us who have cats often do this to relieve stress.

She had no clue about mh, called EMDR whacky and admitted she can’t spell psychological let alone say it.

Her response “mmmm ok I’ve not heard that” she wouldn’t listen to any of my personal experience of being on the higher dose in the past, perhaps I should have said the mh team were the ones who told me about the lower dose etc. I feel more worthless than when I went in

When you go to gp for ptsd, mentalhealth and sleep issues, and come away feeling so unheard! I’m on mirtizipine and I tried to tell her that the mh team had said lower doses are more effective for sleep, and if you increase it, it starts to lose its sleep effect.

I stand here once a year and think it’s where I’d want to be if I had a breakdown. It sits snugly between a second hand bookshop, a sweetshop, a good boozer and the sea. All it needs is a tired woman with a quilt, hot water bottle and a playlist that’s predominantly Kate Bush.

Trying to finish my last book for #ocTBRchallenge with a cheeky baileys! Pretty tired after a Halloween of horror films with bestie (between trick/treaters) and a busy boardgame morning at local library.

It’s a sad day as the studio I attend closed its doors today 😞 So I’m having a book evening, and realised I might blend in too well with the blanket 😂 my fleecy top matches too well lol

Teddy says he’s ready for Halloween! He is the Prince of Darkness and says it’s his day 😂🧛 I was cooking and turned around to his cuteness sat by the pumpkins so had to ruquickly grab the tea lights, his cape and some treats lol #blackcat #HalloweenVibes

Yey my heated blanket just arrived! (As did Pillip Pullmans newest book from The Book of Dist series!!) Going to start my next book whilst dinner cooking, I’ve saved it specifically for Halloween week

I need to go food shopping, so thought Id enjoy a brew & 1 of these wonderful Proper Dragon Tales! I enjoyed it,loved the artwork. It mentioned foot & mouth with a sad tale. I remember those sad and hard times for farmersI,in highschool could see the smoke from surrounding fields

SUCH a good book! Now I have to wait till who knows when for book 3 😭🙈 totally recommend this series! Book 1 was bit slower but then that was setting up all the characters, world and politics etc.

I’ve barely read as much this year for #ocTBRchallenge 🙈 Iv been so focussed on these Halloween crochet treats 🙈 number 18 finished tonight, followed by an hour of PlayStation…I have less than 100 pages left on such a fab series so will finish with my sleepy tea now.
