Forget about the natural beauty of the environment, Ipanema is probably the coolest modern urban area in the world. Spend an hour walking around, it is clean and green with incredible architecture. You want to live in every building, also monkeys in the trees come on

In Ipanema and Leblon you are less likely to be harassed by crazies than American cities. They need to take back downtown and a few other neighborhoods and it is golden
